Text Box: Bringe Music is proud to be the original sponsor of the Awesome Original Second Time Arounders Marching Band, a fantastic group of adult musicians and color guard enthusiasts who want to play one more time! Comprised of well over 400 members, the only requirement to join is experience playing an instrument in school band or having been part of a school colorguard unit. This exciting group acts as the host band for St. Petersburg’s annual Festival of States Celebration each spring, marching in the parades and doing a stand-up concert or two. They have also performed at the Rose Festival in Portland, Oregon, Fiesta! in San Antonio, TX and on St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin, Ireland!

Text Box: Bringe Music, in partnership with Yamaha Band Instruments, serves as the host music store for the Bands Of America Regional Competition, held at Tropicana Field during the fall. We provide repair services to the 30 marching bands who come from all over the country to compete. We also provide a booth display which is quite popular with the student musicians, featuring Yamaha band instruments and accessories for purchase. We are proud of our affiliation with Bands Of America and look forward to continuing the tradition for years to come!

Text Box: Bringe Music has been an active participant at the annual Florida Music Educators Association Convention for nearly 20 years. Held each January at the Tampa Convention Center, our various themed displays and our trademark “Tower of Power” music playing in our booth has made it one of the “must see” displays for the educators and students alike. This January, our display theme will mark our 50th year in business. We view our participation at the convention as a natural part of our commitment to school music in the state of Florida!

Since this is our 50th year in business, we are planning several special events which we will post once the arrangements are complete. Text Box: Bringe Music has been a sponsor and supporter of the Seminole Sound Spectacular at Seminole High School for many years. Providing on-site emergency repair service as well as our fully stocked school delivery van, we’ve rescued many a broken instrument, provided last minute replacement drum heads and sticks, and helped the show go on! We are proud and honored to be a part of this exciting annual competition and hope to continue our service in this way!

Text Box: Girls Rock! is a fairly new event here at Bringe Music which we hope to repeat in the near future. Featuring amateur and professional women musicians in fields as diverse as church music and rock artists, girls of all ages are invited to come and learn about the various areas of music open to their ambitions. Girls Rock! participants have included Oksana Kolesnikova, The Fallopian Tubes All-Girl Rock Band, Alicia Crawford, Donna Klein, Kelly Green, Christie Lenee, Barbara Myers and Glenda Mauger.
