Donnie started teaching for the Bringe School of Music in 2006 and holds his Bachelor of Music Education as well as his Masters of Music in Instrumental Conducting. He teaches drums and percussion at our School but is qualified to teach woodwinds, brass, and conducting as well. He is currently the band director at Tyrone Middle School. A native Floridian, Donnie enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and playing and watching sports! He is married to a wonderful woman, Tiffany, and has 4 dogs! |

John has recently joined the Bringe School Of Music and comes to us with his AA and Bachelor’s degrees in music studies from the University of South Florida. (Go BULLS!) When he’s not instructing students at our School, John plays with Gumbi Ortiz and the Latino Project, a high-energy Cuban Funk band, and with Vibe– a Latin jazz group! He is a native Tampan and when asked about his hobbies, John says he’s happy just to have an occasional moment of spare time. John derives his musical inspiration from his study of culturistic treasures — all of his influence comes from rhythms birthed and shaped thousands of years ago. Rhythm is ancient, far older than the age of the modern drum set which is barely 100 years old! Welcome aboard John! |
